Lost download? Help please

I have downloaded the Java update with Apple's software manager... after the download was finished, the installation was unsuccessfully.

So I have downloaded the Java update manually, and the installation was okay.

Anyone can tell me, where the failed downloaded file (thru the software manager) was stored. I haven't found any incomplete folder or anything like that.
