I have a MacBook (late 2006) that is running Snow Leopard. It's starting to feel quite slow, but I have an iLife '11 install DVD and am considering upgrading. I remember there were mixed reviews initially and wanted to know what people think of iPhoto '11 now that it's had time to mature.
I'd also specifically like to know what features have been removed or watered down with iPhoto '11, since it's been "iOS-ized." I noticed that there's no way to get the Information pane to always show by default. I also noticed that Apple removed the "Show File in Finder" option from the contextual menu (right-click menu), and now it's only in File -> Show in Finder -> Show Original, which is less convenient.
What else? Same question goes for other iLife '11 applications? Thanks!
