So it took 2 attempts to install Lion, since the first failed with an error about a damaged hard drive, but it worked on the second attempt. After installing it and putting Lion on a USB stick, i was able to repair the drive. Right now, disk utility isn't reporting any errors or problems.

Now i have a lost+found folder in finder, with this file - iNode5681314, which is 3.74GB. It's basically the Lion install ESD. How come it's there and do i still need it?

Thanks

It is the result of fsck run during a disk check. If things are in order just delete it.
