Lost HD on Ibook G4

Hi,

While DJing a few days ago, my Mac freezed.
I had to reboot.

On start-up, it flashed the 'where'is the os' question mark.

I figured OS X had been wiped out for some reason
and got myself into re-installing the whole thing.

when prompted for a destination drive for OS X,
I had to choose among a list of ZERO drives.

I then unsuccessfully tried Disk Utility, Norton Sys. Works,
Disk Warrior.
reseted the PRAM.

The HD is definitly gone.

Any ideas?

Try

reset-nvram
set-defaults
reset-all

in Open Firmware.

I just did.

did'nt change a thing
my HD is still gone.
thnaks anyway

i ran a hardware test,
got me the 2STF/1/4: error code for my HD
familiar with that?
