Lost icon from dock

I am a newbie user who has had his IMAC 27" OS Lion for three whole days, and in that time I manage to mis-place an icon on my dock. I had a Stacks icon and it disappeared or I deleted it. Anyway, anyone know how I can get that bugger back?

Which one is it? Restoring Folders to the Dock

Drag the folder you want to be a stack from Finder into the right side of the dock (near the trash) and it should stay in there. Next, right click on the folder to choose how you want it to display.

With all th information posted here none was of any help. My I say this again, I am using OS Lion, every fix you have presented does not coincide with Lion.

Yes, it applies to Lion. You still haven't said which folder or stack you removed.

Thats what i'd do as well....
