I had recently imported about 1000 images into a project within Aperture. Next, I imported about 50 more into the same project. After the second import all of the original pictures are gone.
The first thing I thought of was that the project was only referencing these pictures from the CD and since the CD has been ejected, it can no longer find them to display. This is still a possibility, but when Aperture loads it says something like "items not stored in vault", the number is 1100 or so. How do I see those items not stored in the vault? I'm not using any filters or anything easy like that.
