My 2.4ghz landline phones were causing my Airport connection to drop on my iMacs. So I changed my Airport setting from 2.4ghz to 5ghz.

Now my iPod Touch no longer can find my Airport network.

Is there a solution to this?

Unfortunately the Touch can't handle 802.11n, so your only option is to bump it back down to 802.11g-compatible mode :( Can you change the frequency settings on your phones?

I can change the channel (1-11) that the Airport uses at that frequency and supposedly set the channel on the phone to a different channel.

Instead of trying that method I chose and change the Airport's frequency and found out why I shouldn't.
