My hard drive went out a few days ago and I lost about 50 songs all of off itunes, my question is, are all the songs gone and am i up a creek? or can i get them back, i mean apple has a receipt of all of it ordered, i just didn't have time to back them up. Can anyone help?

apple specifically tells you to back them up because if you have a hard disk failure, you are screwed.
Do you have an iPod? If so, maybe your 50 songs are all on the iPod. You can get them off the iPod and onto the new HD.kukheart said:
If not, then you are screwed. I guess you could go onto a P2P site and download the songs you lost. It'll still be illegal, but to me, it's not ethically wrong.
In the future, back up your stuff. That reminds me, I need to back up my Quicken files.
