Lost my apps on itunes and ipod touch

Can I just download the apps I paid for again from the app store and not be charged for them? It says buy now though. Will it just let me download again for free?
 
When you click "Buy", you'll see a message: "You've already purchased this application. Would you like to download it again for free?". If you click OK, the app will start downloading and you won't be charged.
