Macintosh HD/Users/<Your Username>/Downloads

Is that folder still there?

Also if by 'deleted the download bar' you mean it's gone in Safari, right-click the Safari toolbar and click 'Customise Toolbar'. There you can re-add the download option.

The download file was in Finder/favorites, and I've deleted it by mistake so i have no idea where my downloads are now.
Ive also deleted an arrow in the top right of my screen where the downloads get put before they actually download. But when i click to download files it flashes up as if the files are getting put into it. I'm new to using the Apple Mac and it abit difficult. thank you

Here is what you are looking for.

Open Finder: Go to <Your Username>/Downloads

To put it back in Favorites in the Sidebar, Open Preferences>Sidebar and check Downloads.

For the download button in safari, if you recently cleared the list the button will go away until the next time you download something.
