Lost My Entire Library except 4 iPod & Apple TV - can I restore the library?

My entire library was on an external hard drive that crashed. All of my audio is on my iPod and all of my videos are on my Apple TV (including purchased videos and audiobooks). Is there a way to rebuild the library again? Thank you.

Well the iPod you can connect and you will get a message that says you have files on the iPod not on the computer would you like to upload, say yes, Apple TV you may be able to go into it through wireless or bluetooth w/e it runs off of and see if you can pull them off... not much exp with Apple TV, Sorry.

iPod to computer? this is not a standard feature.

Should show up automatically... if not i think you can manually do it but not sure how..
