Lost my iPhone 14 plus

Hi there! I'm new here! Thought this was a great site to ask some questions.

How does someone get the serial number for it? I don't have the original box it came in. I'm just looking for some tips on how I can get the SN#? I believe it was found by the police department at the college. They asked me for the serial number and I can't find that number anywhere. I need help and direction please. If you are signed into Apple Account on the iPhone, you can log into Apple Account online using web browser. There you will find link "Devies". Your iPhone will be one of the devices. Click on iPhone device and Serial No will be displayed.

On the original Box is a sticker with the serial number too.

I can't find the box for it! I have contacted Verizon where it was bought. Waiting for them to get back to me.

Ask the police to offer another verification to prove that it is yours.

Give the carrier a call and ask for them what IMEI code that has been used with your sim/e-sim card. If you got the phone via them they can prob give you SN/IMEI as well.
Sometimes the SN/IMEI is written on the recepit where you got the phone from.
