Lost my playlist in iTunes :( what can I do?

So I decided to move the music folder that was store in itunes media folder because I was running out of HDD space. Once I did that all my songs in my playlists where gone. Is their a way to restore the songs in the playlists?

Where did you move it to, if you moved it (complete) to an external disk you just have to go into iTunes Preferences and point it towards the new path on the external.
I will update this Post shortly with a screenshot of iTunes Preferences.

I did that, but all my playlist have zero items.

That tells me something else must have happened, I moved or renamed my iTunes Folder many times and never ever had any problems, for instance, I rename the folder to iTunes old and open iTunes again, it startup clean and then I import a folder to do some work on, after I am done and quit iTunes and rename the iTunes Old Folder everything is back as before.

You or a bug must have affected the iTunes Folder otherwise you would see no difference and all your playlists should be there.
