I have a G5 that is running slow. I have never done maintenance on it and it is running slow. In my efforts to fix the issue I downloaded OnyX to clean it and before starting there is a message for me to Boot from MacOSX Disk. I have looked and looked for the disk. All I can find are old G4 system software which puzzles me. I must have lost the disks that came with my G5 and not the disks from my previous Power Mac.

Q: How do I make a start up disk from my system on my computer? Or can I? I am running MacOSX Tiger on a PowerPC G5

Thank you for your help
Maria

I may have the correct Powermac start up disc. What PM do you have? Dual core or Dual Processor and what CPU?
