I have a few machines networked on a wired ethernet network and one machine, a macPro has just developed a really annoying problem. I cannot connect to it. Connection failed.

It is visible. File sharing is ticked. It has worked perfectly for ages. I can connect to it from any machine on the network and undertake screen sharing perfectly. From the faulty machine I can network perfectly with any other. But from any of the others I can access any hard disks or file share.

I have changed the ethernet cable, checked the permissions etc etc but no luck.

What can I do next?
Help appreciated.

Steve
