Lost Network Folder in Finder, HELP!

Hey guys,

I don't see the network folder in the Finder window. (Trying to connect to my PC's Hard Drive)

How can I restore it? Also, how can I leave a shortcut on the desktop to connect to the Network.

Ok, looks like you can restore it in preferences. Is there a way to create a shortcut on the desktop?
