My wife purchased an iPhone 6 Plus three weeks ago from a seller in the Philippines and the NSP is Smart Philippines. Last week the phone lost all connectivity with the NSP and will not re-connect. Despite the fact that all of the local NSP’s are shown as being available she cannot connect to any of them. She has tried soft and hard resets of the phone and still will not connect. She tried resetting the network connections and the same, no network. So she took the phone back to the retailer who, rather than replace the phone has said that he will check the handset and try and repair it which is common in the Philippines. Wi-Fi works OK but try as she can the phone will not connect to the NSP and previously the phone worked great and my wife was happy with her choice. She has asked the NSP for help and they have tried but again no network. Anyone else experienced this problem?

You might've been scammed by the seller, the phone was on contract and was not fully paid off, and now the phone is blacklisted.

Or it could be a defective phone, and be covered under warranty by apple

Goodluck
