I lost my office 2011 box including the serial number. Luckily, office 2011 is installed on my MAC with this serial number. Is there any way I can scan office 2011 for the serial number? I don't believe it shows anywhere...

Thanks!

Office 2011 was exclusive to the Mac OS. Office 2010 is the Windows-compatible version. Unless you have Boot Camp or a virtual machine, I don't see how a serial code for one platform will help you with another.

Ohhhh c'mon guys. By PC (personal computer) I mean MAC! Isn't that obvious if I post it in a Mac exclusive board?;)

I know you can find the product ID, which is not the serial number by any means, but you ought to be able to contact Microsoft and see if they need anything else or if they can email you a replacement key.

Ugh, seems like a lot of work. The serial has to be in my system. Is there no software that can detect the serial?
