Lost office product key

Hi, i bought the office 2008 home and student edition with a feature so that i could upgrade it to the new office thats just been available. It's just that i lost the product keys.. so i wonder if they were any way that i could locate them on the computers where i installed office 2008?

The easiest thing to do is call Microsoft. As long as it's a legal copy they'll walk you through it.

You don't actually need the product key. The installer will automatically enter the product key and activate it. It's strange that the windows version of office doesn't do this.
