Hello everyone,

I bought an external HD Seagate 4TB Expansion Drive that I partitioned into 3: 1)-650GB- Back Up for Time Machine 2)-650GB- Back up for other files and folders and 3) 2.3TB- I am using for different stuff.

By accident I erased Back Up 2 and thank god it was still empty I haven't performed yet the back up I wanted! Now i have a problem as I can't find it and make use of! Basically I have a 650GB unused and hidden somewhere..

My question is in two parts:

1- How do I recover this space and make it appear again in my Seagate Hard Drive without deleting or erasing any of the other partitions because they are being used?

2- Can I add/merge the recovered space to the 2.3TB partition without damaging it?

I am new to this forum and to Mac as well so thank you for the help!

Thank you

iMac Processor 2.93 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
OS X Version 10.9.2
