Hey, I'm new to the site, but I'd appreciate any help anybody could give me.

Recently I partitioned my 3TB hard drive into three partitions; 1 NTSF and 2 FAT32 partitions. When I brought it into one of the editing rooms, my plan was to simply format one of the FAT32 partitions to the Mac journaled format so that I would be able to use it for editing and have one specifically for use on my pc, and the FAT32 simply for transferring files inbetween. The problem was, when I attempted to erase and format one of the FAT32 partitions from the sub menu using Disk Utility it failed and only the partition I selected disappeared at the moment, leaving the other two visible. Though they remained there on the desktop at first, when I unplugged and plugged back in the drive (which I probably shouldn't have done), none of the partitions were recognized besides simply the larger hard drive. I also tried to plug it into a pc in a computer lab, though the device is recognized and said to be "working properly" and installed the drivers, I cannot access the drive and can only see drive in the device manager and in the devices and printers section, both of which I can only look at driver properties. I was wondering if there was any way I can recover the two partitions that didn't make it. On disk utility the only option I am offered is to simply erase and/or partition the drive, which I really can't imagine having any good effects and this point...

Anyway, thanks for listening, and I apologize for the long winded message.
Thanks in advance
