Lost phone -> Entered "Lost Mode" Will text messages, alerts etc still come through?

Hi,

Quick story. I lost my phone. I'm tracking it on iCloud currently and the phone is in lost mode. I searched and read apples response. My question is:

Will text messages, alerts, emails etc show up on the home screen?

I don't have my phone to test that out. I do have a lock on my phone. help!

No they will not. I just tested it out.
