Lost Photo Library after IOS6 update

I upgraded to IOS6 on a Verizon iPhone using the phone update, not the computer iTunes. Seemed to go smoothly. Now the Photo Library is gone completely. Any ideas?

It takes time to load all your photos/videos assuming you first backed up your phone using iCloud. I upgraded Fri night and it's still downloading my photos and videos from my icloud account. Open photos app and click on albums. It should say downloading.
