Hi,
I did a restore from backup on my iMac for my iPhone 11 Pro Max. I lost all of my recent call list. I called Apple and then said, no matter what I try you can't get them back...is this true? If not, can someone tell me how I can get my recent call list back? All of my works recent calls are there and I need those.
Thanks, Jerry

Sorry to hear you lost some important data. Unfortunately, your call history is not something that’s backed up either in an iCloud or computer backup.

I highly suggest getting the iMazing app. It does a much better backup than iCloud or iTunes. It will backup your call history.

Strange, I just set up a new phone a day ago and restored from a backup (in this case a local one, but I recall having the same experience using an iCloud backup) and the recent call list is all there going back a few weeks.

I wish I could get mine back, lost like 70 of them.

I don’t know how much this will help, but there’s a footnote in an iCloud backup support article:
”If you use iOS 10 or earlier, call history is included in iCloud Backup.”

So sounds like it used to back it up, but doesn’t now.
