I'm prepping my 2GHz MacBook for sale and somehow seem to have lost the discs that came with it. I have the discs that came with my iMac G5 and my MBP17" - could I use either of those to restore my MacBook?

No. The install disks that come with Macs are model-specific and will not work on other models. You can order replacement disks from Apple. A smart buyer would require the install disks to be included.

Yeah, I appreciate that it's worth having them to sell with the MacBook. Do you know where/how I can buy replacements from Apple? I can't find anything on the UK site at all.

Call AppleCare. They should be able to help you.
