Lost screw installing memory in last gen pro

I was putting 4gb memory in my pro, but I can't find one screw that goes to the memory door. Is it possible to have screw go into the case from the battery compartment? I tried seeing if a screw when go through the opening but it wouldn't fit. I am little worried the screw is in the case b/c I hear something moving in dvd-rom area if I move the macbook up and down. Not sure if thats normal or not. I don't think its the screw since the sound is very light I can only hear if put my hear next the case, and it doesn't go all over the place like screw would.
