Yesterday the Services option on the right click Finder menu disappeared. I've done some googling and tried the following:
- Restart Finder
- Restart computer
- Trash the Finder preferences and restart
- Checked the Services options in systems preferences-Keyboard-Shortcuts
- Used the command in Terminal: /System/Library/CoreServices/pbs
all to no avail.
Any other ideas, folks?

I don't know much about Services, and whether they're system-wide or per-user, but it might be useful to temporarily create a user account and see if the problem occurs there, or not. Might help to narrow down where to look. You can delete the new user account after testing it for the Services option, of course.

Thanks, Brian 33 - I had just come to the same conclusion myself. I'll set up another account and see what happens.

I tried another user account and that didn't work. I've reinstalled Mojave and updated it but the menu is still missing. There must be something in my settings that isn't right but I'm blessed if I can see what it is. So, I'll live without the services menu!

That is strange

Does it show in the preferences? < Keyboard < Shortcuts? see screen shot below

If it does may try toggling a short cut on or off ?

not sure that will do anything just a shot in the dark
