Lost SIM

I recently got unlimited data by using an old iPhone Gen 1 and activating it through iTunes, then cut the SIM and stuck it in my iPhone 4. I got unlimited data, however I lost my SIM card in a hotel room. Its gone.

If I purchase a new SIM and activate it through iTunes will this alter my plan in anyway?
