I lost my system restore discs back in the U.S., and now need to use them. I heard you can get replacement discs from Apple for a nominal fee, but I now live in China! I had a Chinese friend call Apple's local support number, but they weren't helpful or didn't seem to think I could get a replacement. Anyone know what I can do?

make an international call to apple support in the US and explain their situation and you may be able to get some disks, otherwise look on ebay or if your computer didn't ship with Leopard on it use this as an opportunity to upgrade to Leopard.

Do you have a friend on China with a Mac? Questions is why you need the restore DVDs?
