lost telephone numbers while syncing

I just performed a sync with itunes and when I went into my contacts on my phone, all I had was names and the telephone numbers that I had were gone. I sync with Outlook and I don't know where they went to. I have 5,580 contacts and this is a huge problem!! Can someone help!!!

Sounds like you either performed a restore instead of a sync, or changed some of your sync settings in iTunes. Do you have an iTunes backup? Are your contacts still in Outlook? Do you have multiple contact groups on your phone, and have the wrong group selected?
