Lost with the Macbook pro..?¿

Hi Ive got a Macbook pro 13 inch.....its gonna be a year since I bought it in november and looking at system info its a 2,4 Intel core i5....says end of 2011....

So how many new versions are there?? is there two new version? one that came out a while back? when? and one thats just come out now with retina display?

My girlfriend is gonna buy the macbook pro, but not the one thats just come out not with retina, the one before that.....what are the differences between mine and the one shes looking to buy?

Technically the one that came out in June is still "current" as it uses the same processor as the retina version and is still sold as new (and its own model) on the Apple store online. I believe the one that came out in June is the next model after yours if yours is a "Late 2011" model and is the one she would get if she orders online, the "Mid-2012" or "June 2012" model.
