Last night I recently updated my software through Software Update and today since then I got on my 13" MacBook Pro and I'm expierecing several problems and I need help or advice to fix them.

1. Brightness keys, Backlight Keyboard keys, and Volume keys do not work.

2. iTunes will not open

3. Software update opens and immediately closes and says "Software Update quit unexpectedly"

4. After reboot, airport does not even remember to connect to my network.

5. My startup items will not startup.

That's only what I noticed so far within the first 5 minutes. I've done a shut down, restart, and still nothing. Is there anything I can do? I do not currently have Time Capsule on so I cant roll back. Is there something I can do without completely restoring my mbp?

Try downloading the Combo updater from Apple's HP and reapply the update. Worth a try. Repair permissions after that and see what happens.

15" Core i5 MBP and an i7 iMac and they both work flawlessly after the update. The OP may need to reinstall the OS. Also, OP, give people a chance to answer, you didn't even give anyone 30 minutes to respond before you bumped the thread.
