There will be a lot of changes in the next build of Mac OS X, code named Jaguar. Some features will ether make you happy they did it or sad that you ever upgraded.

iTools is replaced with ".Mac"
New Boot Screen
New Wallpaper that changes wallpaper automatically by time set.
New Sherlock III with many new features
New Zoom Feature
New Floating window icons
New PopUp Folders

From Sources performance is a lot better, Jaguar is building up to be very new and fast than any other Mac OS X build.

Here you go these are off of a friends server, so no take downs until Apple emails me or I get a email from one of their lawyers. I can understand if no rumor sites wanted to post this information, because of the whole blacklisting thing that Apple is doing.

A Simple Finder lets you see and open all your applications but doesnt let you mess with folders and stuff...you change it to simple finder in account options

The server is clogging, my poor BeBox. I had to restart it it has had over 500 hits in 45mins! And guess what I got more for you guys!

Wow, Jag looks awesome. Can't wait. iChat looks useful, but kind of "bubbly and annoying" interface to me, I'll stick with Adium. Performance improvements are always nice but I won't be amazed until it runs as fast as OS 9 did.

One thing Apple is still cool about is site licencing. This includes places like universities. I hope they don't go all microslut on us and have serial numbers, no more having one copy of X for the house.

I'm just going to wait till Jag comes standard on all new computers from Apple and then buy my new laptop , TiBook if they up it to Ghz range.
 
68k POWER!

I want to get my PowerBook 540c to run a server! How? Come on you've seen those magazines "get your old mac back to work" Can you tell me how? Is it free! I am running 7.7 or 7.6 (I forget) It has ethernet. I also have a Mac IIcx w. ethernet, Thanks bye. I know this is little off topic but eh....
 
But, but, but, noooooo! I like the little classic mac with the smiley face! He's so cool!
