I work in ITSupport, & have a users' MacBook with Lion 10.7.2 running Lotus Notes 8.5.3. I have tried Notes 8.5, 8.5.1, 8.5.2, & the latest version 8.5.3.

The OS X menus are fine until Notes gets the focus. The menus change for the Notes App, but all menu mouse clicks are ignored. Keyboard shortcuts work, as do mouse clicks inside the Notes program.

I'm stumped after searching far and wide for answers. Does anyone have a suggestion? We have Notes users running OS X 10.6.8.

Thank You for your help!

It turns out the basic configuration installer, 167 MB has menu trouble. The Standard Configuration installer, 431 MB fixed the problem. Following IBM Technote 1092490 (Uninstall Notes Client from the Mac), and installing from the Standard Configuration installer, access to the Mac Menus was regained.
