Does leaving wifi on cause severe battery drainage? My iP4 only loses 4-5% overnight, but the other night I left wifi on overnight and the battery suddenly drained 75% just sitting on my nightstand. I would think leaving wifi on wouldn't be such a big deal. If so, it's kind of a hassle to have to constantly turn it on and off whenever you want to use your phone.

I can only tell you my experience with my 3G. With wifi on at my house, I can go all weekend without charging the phone. When I leave the house for work, it drains the battery more, since it doesnt have wifi to connect to and is searching for it, but it doesnt drain it enough for me to worry about it.
