In case anyone is considering a handsfree option for using your iPad...

Ergotron Wall Mount - $115 http://www.buy.com/prod/ergotron-45-243-026-lx-wall-mount-lcd-arm/q/loc/111/213739135.html

RAM Tab-Tite iPad w/Case Holder - $32

There is also a RAM mount for $20, that is meant for iPads w/o cases.

$147 might sound extravagant, but I'm totally loving not having to hold the iPad, lay it on my lap, use a stand to keep it straight, or put a pillow on my lap...Just recline my chair, and as my wife puts it..."spend all night having iSex with that thing". :D

HAHA it looks like a dentists office with all those mounts + swivel arms...

Sweet setup though. Also if you ever become paralyzed you can still use it with a stylus in your mouth.... just sayin'

For sure!! Yeah, my wife was not real pleased to have an apparatus protruding from the wall, nor dropping $150 on it, but she saw me drawing up plans to use PVC pipe for a mount arm, and said there's no way she's gonna live in a house with PVC pipe holding up a laptop!

So another tip...if you don't get the green light from your wife, just start busting out some PVC and you'll be good to go! :D

I think I'd get the smackdown if I tried PVC or the real thing...

Oh crap she's coming, I'm not supposed to be on macrumors either - gotta go!

Since it's articulating, just tell her you can retrofit "other attachments" for her.... pleasure :D

I'm still shocked by this....

You should also buy a new lazyboy with a built in cupholder, tissue dispenser and motion lotion dispenser. You might as well buy one of those contraptions that redirects your farts back to your own face.

My own house is a bit tight and narrow so I don't have the space for such a contraption, but having said that I can see when this can come in "handy"

A+, amazing. You remind of my brother in law (he's not lazy, but it is efficiency on another level :D).

That looks pretty heavy duty for an iPad. It would be cooler if it could fold the armature in a way that when not in use it's tight to the wall.

Yikes. :(

Now I'm sure of it. You had better secure a good divorce lawyer.

Daremo, I was kidding...I thought that sounded funnier than "I don't spank my monkey to porn on my iPad".

It does fold!!
