One of the things I love the most about my new AW6 is the solo loop, it's just soooo comfortable. But dang does it make me nervous taking it on and off. I'm a male with small wrists (size 6 44mm band) and average size hands and every time I put it on or take it off I really have to stretch it to get it over my hand. Which makes me worry if some day it's going to snap out of the fitting. I try not to do this over a tile floor in an abundance of caution. Also, several times now when taking it off the face flipped over onto my wedding ring with a loud snap. Luckily I don't see any damage. Maybe I'm being overly paranoid.

You'll get used to it, and find that it's actually very robust.

Mine is just a little bit tighter than I would like, maybe 1mm or 2mm too short. The next size up would be 5mm bigger, which would be too big. With rumors that it will stretch over time, I've tried intentionally to stretch it by grabbing the loop opposite the watch and pulling it 4-5" away from my wrist. Never had any problems with it.

There's also a review on youtube where somebody lifted 100 pounds with the solo loop attached to the watch and it didn't break.

As far as the ring, I had the same issue at first because I was putting the watch on or taking it off by pulling on the strap. The issue went away when I started holding the watch itself to pull it on and off.

I had a similar thought with the braided loop. It does take some force to get it off. As a size 12 wear I can’t just opt for a tighter fit to break in...

We will see how it holds up. I’m more worried about the braid starting to get all fuzzy...

I’ve had the same issue mentioned in the OP. My solution has been to spin the watch to the inside and pull it off from there.

That’s what I’ve been doing, I sort of flip it over(not all the way, as much as I need to fit my fingers in) and then just disconnect the band from the watch if that makes sense.
