I figured I'd report in with some favorable comments. I just got my first MBP a few days ago. I've been through a lot of laptops over the years and all of them were IBM/Lenovo. I loved the Trackpoint that they all had and no other laptop had. All the touchpads I'd tried on other machines I totally hated and I really never wanted to have to carry a mouse around to use my laptop. Its one thing to be able to use it when you are at a desk, but on a plane, in the car, on the couch, etc... that would stink. Well after trying the multi touch on the MBP in the store, I loved it. I ended up buying an Early 2008 model which isn't quite as good as the new ones, but still dang nice. Navigating on the web with mult touch is a breeze. It would just be nice if Safari would behave correctly with not launching new windows all the time.
