Im British so have not had my iPad 2 that long. (incase it has already been covered)

I have to share mind I am mightily impressed with the hidden gestures feature.

Not going to save anyone lots of time but it works really well.

Does anyone know as to why it wasn't included as a standard feature?

also, has it been removed from 4.3.1?

It hasn't been removed in 4.3.1 I updated and the gesture setting carried over.

I love them, however, they play hell with Garageband. Especially when trying to play Guitar and Piano as using 4-5 fingers at a time.

Can someone tell me, in a nutshell, what gestures are opened using the xcode?

I have a friend with a Mac and was pondering doing this.

Before anyone says it, yes I know google is probably my best friend :D

4 finger gestures left and right to change between applications. AND
4finger "push"/slide up to bring up app switcher, and 4 push/slide down to hide

Also, 5 finger pinch to return to home screen. they just feel natural.

It IS nice and has a very natural feel...

Its what you would expect the iPad to be able to do.. I amaze all of my friends with it now...

And if you have a PC, you can enable it for free and almost instantly...

i'm not sure if it's just me but has anyone noticed that when you switch apps using the four finger swipe to the left/right, the multitasking saved state does not work and it launches the app from the start again? (i got mine enabled from the free xcode download if it makes any difference)

i tried it using sn0wbreez beta tethered jb, with my ipod4, it works but a bit buggy when switching between apps.

...

Works great especially with the smart cover because I tend to hold my iPads the same way all the time but the smart cover moves the button to the left and normally I hold it with the button on the right so the pinch to home screen is nice since it's consistent

Mine multitasks correctly, - iPad 2 here. You ran out of memory, maybe? Using an iPad 1?

Definitely not the case on mine, although of course you can switch to an app that has quit...

Yep, agreed on the gestures. I was concerned at first they would wreak havoc with some apps but I've yet to experience any issues. I love the swipes to move between apps and the 5-finger "crumble" to close. It's natural and great!

Why did they omit 3 finger gesture to navigate between web pages? I think this would have been one of the great features that they could have borrowed from osx.

Loaded it. gestures work.
How do I remove XCode completely. I think it loaded strange, said 10gb needed but file was 4gb. maybe it was compressed, anyway I want to remove it all from my mac cleanly.
In Developer - Library, I see 2 Uninstall items, one says uninstall developer folders and one says uninstall dev-tools.

@WilliamG and @PadJunkie: nah, using iPad 2 as well. i've just noticed that it only happens to a few selected music apps. the other apps multitasks alright but i can notice a second of "loading" once you swipe to the other app. you'll not be able to interact with the app for that second and then everything's all cool. not too fussed though

Must be app dependent. And the pause is there even on my iPhone 4 with no gestures.

Was hoping someone knew for sure what needs to be uninstalled to remove this monsterous program.

In the Developer directory, there is a PDF called: About Xcode and iOS SDK.pdf

Uninstalling Xcode Developer Tools
To uninstall Xcode developer tools on the boot volume along with the <Xcode> directory, from a Terminal window type:
$ sudo <Xcode>/Library/uninstall-devtools --mode=all
