This is an exceptional combo and I strongly recommend it if you are on the market for a new keyboard and mouse!

The mouse is nice to hold in the hand, has amazing resolution and super smooth scrolling. But the star is the keyboard!

I have been meaning to try mechanical keyboards after having used the common membrane keyboards for so many years, so I finally decided to try them after my Magic Keyboard version 1 died.

At first I bought the Keychron K3 Pro. It was nice, but for some reason I was making too many typos with it, perhaps because of the way the keys are designed, or the switches, not sure.

Then I replaced it with the Logitech MX Mechanical Keyboard which wasn't bad either, but the keys felt a bit weird and inconsistent. The amazing thing about this keyboard is the battery life, which is the absolute best.

I wasn't 100% sure if I wanted to keep it so I did more research and narrowed the selection down to the Nuphy Air V2 and the Lofree Flow as the best low profile mechanical keyboards according to many reviews.

After reading the many comparisons between the two from people who have tried both, I understood that the Nuphy had more features while the Lofree had the better typing experience.

Since I don't care about backlighing or any particular customization I decided to order the Lofree Flow and wow, I absolutely love it.

I bought the black version with tactile switches that somehow felt a bit too heavy so I replaced them with the linear switches and now typing is as smooth as butter.

It's an expensive keyboard, no doubt, but the quality is premium and the typing experience is just superior compared to that of membrane keyboards including the Magic Keyboard.

Do you use a mechanical keyboard? If yes which one do you have?

I have a bunch of mechanical keyboards (kind of a hobby). I've got some posted in the Keychron thread here, but I've got several Keychron models (several different models, switches and keycaps - none are stock), a Yunzii AL71, and Nuphy Gem80, Halo75v2 and Air96v2.

I will never go back to an Apple Magic Keyboard -- not for my desktop machine, anyway.
