Hey all, I noticed that Nike Run Club(gosh, this app is bad) tracks low amount of calories. Same runs with iPhone only give me about 1000 kcal, and Watch only gives me 700 kcal in active calories(in total about 850). I made one walk with Workout app to calibrate, but I dunno whether it will help with anything. Is the app broken or calories are calculated by Watch without the assist of the app? And is it possible to fix?

I believe all calorie calculations are up to the device they are using. I have noticed that the Apple Watch is ALWAYS lower than any other device I have compared it to so I just adjust the goal to make sure I have to push myself to reach it but not put it out of reach.

None of these devices are any good at counting the calories. All it can do it take the information you give it and have it estimate how many calories were burned. It is all just a guess with numbers that at best can be used for day to day comparison
