Alright, I'm sorry if this has already been posted before, but I am just curious if there is anything I can do to improve this (patches, things I can download, etc).

I've got a macbook pro with NVIDIA 8600M GeForce, 2 GB RAM, 2.4 GHz processor, and over 120 GB free space. (not sure if I'm forgetting any important specs--honestly, I am not very familiar with mac gaming and whatnot). Anyway, from what I've read these should be able to run Oblivion nicely and even at a high resolution. BUT...even on the lowest resolution I get like 10 fps. I know this has something to do with the whole no directx on mac because I'm pretty sure Oblivion was not made for a mac--I downloaded it.

I was wondering if there is a way I can get around this and have better gameplay. It gets a little annoying sometimes.

Thanks guys.
