Low power wireless charger for iPhone Mini

Now that 12 Minis are going into mass circulation, I'll ask this in the event that anyone has experience with it.

I have an Anker PowerWave "stand up" type 7.5 watt charger that I've been using with my iPhone 8. I'll be getting a 12 Mini in the next month and would like to use the charger with it also. Has anyone out there tried it? If so, does it work?

NOTE: I know it won't FAST charge the iPhone 12 Mini, and that is fine. Just want to know if it will work for slower charging, such as overnight.

Thanks!

the problem with the powerwave i am finding is that the coils don't align properlyy for the mini. I need to raise it up roughly an inch to get it to start charging.
I have a generic "Stand Up" charger. Like you I find that the phone needs to be slightly higher up to charge correctly ( I have used a Pencil eraser on the "Shelf" of the charger which moves the phone to the ideal Haight to charge.

Thank you both! This is exactly the kind of info I was after.

Yes, the coil alignment was the unknown. Looks like it is easily adjusted for my using a spacer. Another alternative might be to try putting the phone on the stand sideways or upside down.

In any event, I'll plan on using my existing PowerWave charger with the Mini for slow or overnight charging. Will pick up the Anker 20 watt USB-C charging brick for use when traveling or for fast charges.

Thanks again.
