Low profile SSD usb drives

Do any exist ?

The reason being is my case has usb ports on top and my keyboard tray clearance is only like 2 or 3 inches max.

The normal usb thumb drives I hit when my keyboard tray comes out.
 
SSD drive are often attached by a cable rather than directly as you get with thumb drives. The flexibility of positioning that a cable allows might suit you. Check out the Samsung T5 drives. They are compact, fast and come in sizes from 250GB to 2TB.
