I want a fixed to my desk solution for my MagSafe pad, ideally a BYO charger one that I can can use with StandBy. I’m currently using literally a blob of blutack to prop up the pad, which is workable and allows me to attach and detach the cable with one hand but it’s really not elegant.

I bought the Elate MS4 but it’s such a huge piece of metal that it feels clunky and unnecessary on my desk, compared to just having the phone in place.

If anyone can recommend something that lets me keep the phone horizontal and propped up so that standby comes into effect, I’d be hugely thankful.

Ah yeah, for clarity - I don’t want to elevate the phone, I don’t want to charge anything but the phone, and I want something as small as possible.

I‘ve been surprised how difficult it is to get something that fits this bill, it seems to be that most of the existing designs are very maximalist.

I have this one. Got it from the Apple Store. Requires you to purchase the Apple MagSafe charger and wall charger separately. It’s adjustable, light and works with standby mode.

Just an idea, but would you be able to attach a Popsocket to the back of the MagSafe puck? This would be a $10 option if it would work. 🤷‍♂️ Not sure if heat or anything would affect the grip in the long run…
