Low reception bars ever since upgrading to 4.2.1.

I upgraded from my 16GB 3GS from 4.0 to 4.1.2 through iTunes restore and jailbroke w/ greenpois0n last week. I did not unlock.
Ever since the upgrade the reception signal bar meter has only been showing 1-2 bars where I know I've had full bars before the upgrade.

Anyone experience this?

Apple redid how the signal bars are displayed in 4.0.1 They now show a more correct representation of the actual signal strength.

Ok thx. Ever since I upgraded I've never had more then 3 bars. Is it that bad in the SF Bay Area?
