When I add an image to a note in Apples Notes app, it shows a low resolution version of the image. I can understand it may do this for performance when displaying a note, but when I tap on the image to show it full screen, it displays the same low resolution version.
If I back out to the notes list and hit the the little icon with four squares to show all note attachments, then I can access the full resolution version of the image by tapping on it from there, but that’s a little inconvenient.
Also, I can get the full resolution version to show within a note and by accessing it directly from a note, but only if I add some markup to the image. When I open markup for the first time, it will be the low resolution version, but once I save the markup and back out to the notes list, next time I access that note, it’ll use the full resolution version of the image.
I’ve tried this on 2 iPhones and an iPad, and get the same results.
I’m guessing it’s just a bug but was wondering if anyone else had noticed this.
I’m on 11.3 BTW.
