I was at my local Apple Store the other day to pick up a new iPhone. I have been considering getting a new AppleTV and had a look around. They only had one in the whole store (the Ethernet model)

Made me think maybe an update is coming. I’m sure when I’ve been before they’ve normally had many. Just struck me as weird, especially given it is the season for updates.

It was almost a year ago. There was only a bit over a year between 2nd and 3rd generation 4K.

Only because no more iPads were using that chip. I highly doubt they are discontinuing production of the A15 this year.

None at the Ottawa Rideau store either. This seems more than a coincidence.

Original observation was Bromley, London (UK)

There seems to be plenty of stock for the Ethernet version in many Toronto, Canada stores.
