I'm watching independence day in hd right now, and i can barely hear what people talk about, but all other sound effects are quite loud. I am using a samsung sound bar that is connected to my MBP with a mini-rca cable and I am using Plex to watch it. The audio is fine in all other instances. Any tips?

How is the sound being passed to your speakers? It sounds to me like only the L and R channels are getting through, and the center is being dropped. If you're hooked up with analog cables (like I am) this can be a problem.
