Low volume 13" Macpro Book

Is there any way to get more volume out of The Macpro Book? I have toped out all of the contols I can find, but the volume level is still pretty low.

buy some external speakers or if your watching or listening to media on vlc player you can raise the volume percentage to 200 but it sometimes makes your internal speakers snap so i wouldn't try that method but it does get extra loud

Yes, you can download this $7 dollar application called "Boom".

I do not believe that there is a free alternative. But i could be wrong.

Agreed, it's better to boost the volume externally, I'll do VLC up to 150%, but let my TV or receiver do the heavy lifting.
